About Us

       

     The Howl is an online platform for high-school-age creators to submit their proudest works. We publish and amplify a wide variety of written and multimedia content that whirls out of the minds of the next generation. Our staff is composed of students overseen by professors from Western Connecticut State University’s Department of Creative and Professional Writing. The students are involved in every part of the publication process, including but not exclusive to the editorial vision, organizing the editorial process, collecting and revising submissions. Our staff is also responsible for creating the layout and design of the magazine website and executing promotions and media relations.
